I made my third trip to Arundel Castle the other week. Really nice, National Trust joint so not overly cheap, and the cream tea we had was a bit pokey but... hee hee folks, it´s not that kind of third trip!! Guffaw. Okay for those still here after that awful opener, this is an evil album that should be banned immediately. In a good way. Mic´s Astronaut takes all of three seconds to set the tone for the rest of the evening, high-powered and straight down to business with snarling acid flying everywhere. Osom´s Acid Tanik is obscenely dirty, flinging you round the room and giving you a wedgie afterwards for good measure. Psychotic Micro´s Gravedigger made me feel so utterly, physically sick that I had it on repeat for about half an hour, Hyper Frequencies´ New Order of Noise is caustic and twisted, and Digital Talk´s wonderful Artificial Beings has an epic, final-twist kinda vibe that goes very disjointed then fades back into itself. We´re hanging by tatters, but there´s just about time to enjoy What´s Going On by Sticky Fingers, a tech-tribal analogue revolver space age twist of psychedelic lemon to see you on your stumbling way home.
MUY BUENO:
Third Trip, a compilation which keeps the line started with "First Step" and carried on by "Psychedelically Yours" : full-on psychedelic party music ! To open the CD we begin with a track from MIC which is a project Parvati has had since "First Step". Solar sound, funny trippy atmospheres created directly in Goa, the mother of all parties. From Chapora to space On nr. 2 Azax Syndrom, a young israeli artist, powerful music, highly psychedelic, watch out for cronic lysergic overdose. The Osom project gives us track nr. 3. This is an underground production exploded in a moscovite studio through the meeting of some well known russian artists
be aware tonik and very very acid! At nr. 4 Psychotic Micro is the project born from the ashes of Psycho Micro (remember Digital Blood ?). With a new style they're kickin' more then ever: A full power production which leads us into the world of Kindzadza who is waiting for us at nr. 5, a Russian guy devoted to heavy psytrance culture presenting us a new russian sport: twisted brain activities on long distance. At nr. 6 Hyper Frequencies with his mature and solid sound takes us on a night ride. What follows at nr.7 is the latest production from the other project that has been with Parvati Records since their first release: Digital Talk aka Droidsect, top quality in sound and creativity are guaranteed. Neuromotor, the "french energizer" at nr. 8 gives us another true dark tunnel to explore during the nighttime. To end this journey at Nr. 9 from Berlin, the Sticky Fingers, from ex Charasmatix Sven Looping and Soma Crome ending this flight in a smoothly way.

REVIEWED BY Freaky Bob for Upfront Magazine
Three compilation albums in (hence the name) and Parvati have very definitely shown us how they are able to splice back the psychedelic into the heart of trance. There is no other way to describe this album apart from the purest of the pure psychedelia: noisy, packed with energy and soul, and deeply intense. But then again any label who time and time again is charted amongst Goa Gill's Divine Dozen must be doing something right. FB
Man I've been looking forward to this album, the wait has paid off....big time. The first track is by MIC which is the last from this Goa based project. Its called "Areostronaut". Buckle up because this is a monstrous ride. The kick is like taking an electric shock through your whole body. The track has lots of energy and its very snappy. I like the twisted melody that churns away. A fullon tune that will explode on the trancefloors. A killer which you will not be able to resist. I love the sample with that little munchkin. Its psychedelic overload with the sounds ripping through every barrier. It starts the album beautifully and I have to say although unusual for the first track on the album its my favorite. I'll get my monkey ready. Track2 is called "Shockwave" and is by Azax Syndrom. A great experimental type intro leading you steadily into this hectic Israeli journey. Its build is good, you will hear the acid tearing its way through gradually as the bass keeps driving relentlessly. The acidic melodies float over for a while until they are charged and start attacking the other sounds. A lot of twists and a kind of repetitive eatstatic alien noise in the back. Its always building with a groaning howl adding to the atmosphere. Its forever increasing its width and depth and so many different noises to take in, a twisted alarm going off and kind of alien effects that find their way into the middle of everything else. I guess its sort of progressive but the feel is punchy with some good knob tweaking. Next we have Osom's "Shockwave" Fierce bass and aggressive door knocking. Go inside and by the time you've found the toilet you would have drowned in the acid bath. Intense to say the least. Acidic sounds seem to be constantly attacking and they come from all sorts of directions. You might try to duck but they hit you every time. Very trippy stuff that could send anyone over the edge. Its big, hard and probably purple as it seems to get angry and more aggressive. The percussion is impressive with some fancy twisted drumming, it gets funky and there is also a huge uplift as we are taken to huge heights. You just have time to share a glass of water before plummeting back down to a tribe that are all on hallucinogenic drugs. Deep with many layers. Faster and faster until it goes into a bit of mess. The tribal drums beat and the full acidic taste in your mouth returns. Its a screaming stomp to go crazy to. Track4 is by Psychotic Micro and is called "Gravedigger". This is a grave digger that's using hardcore drilling machinery. The kick explodes into life and the Israeli power is evident straight away. The melody is simple to begin with laying sweetly over hard ass banging. Its powerful and driving with sharp noises, a repetitive bell, a high pitched voice that could be saying "what?" over and over again. Its waves of noises and energy give so much power. A very spooky melody hits later on which just makes an already twisted track really sick and twisted. The break is a huge teaser and as you'd expect it doesn't take any prisoners. It just romps home destroying anything in its way. A tune that sounds alive and could cause a lot of damage. Impressive. Kindzadza with "I Like Sport" is track5. Well I'm quite partial to a game of snooker but I think blood sports is probably more appropriate. Lots of zaps and a bassline thats from a mothership somewhere out in space. Hard and hammering with some twisted tinny bangs. The sort of sounds from a cartoon but when accompanied with this fully charged power hungry beast nothings funny. Pretty experimental and so many sounds attacking the brain all at once its quite hard to cope. Things do change later with a slightly different groove where things also become a little funky. A ripping acidic melody is always present and its not long before we find our way back to insanity. Although there seems to be so much going on it never gets too messy and it still makes a lot of sense in a twisted sort of way,-. The bleeps and screeches all talk to each other and follow specific patterns already paved out for them. Hyper Frequencies has the next one with "New Order Of Noise". Its night night time as DJ Gill attacks from the darkness with a very deep sound. Many different layers and a trippy bass I can't help myself following. Although I know there is mushed hectic sounds throwing up all over everything I'm almost oblivious until I put myself back in check...strange... don't worry I'll get myself checked out. Powerful trance that thuds through what could be an alien industrial park. Low and driving all the noises seem to keep pushing through. Its a very fat and full sound in places making things a bit intense and at times uncomfortable. There are also reassuring sounds like some good drum tapping and pushing percussion. It does the job. Digital Talk with "Artificial Beings" have track7. I'm pleased to see them back after enjoying some quality productions on Parvati's previous releases. Starts off powerful and snappy, a disturbing atmospheric sound grows and welcomes the trippy voice sample. The background gets a bit ghoulish as the main bulk of the track gets itself right into some funky banging. A harsh melody drops, the ghoulish sounds come back and then we get treated to some really mean funky banging and drumming. Sweeps of acid layer everything. There's some kind of subtle sound sucking in there somewhere as some beautifully controlled sounds just keep bubbling over the edge' You soon realize that those noises are some sort of voice but I'm not able to quite work out what's being said. Its far too trippy to get in there... too many distractions. A wonderful track that is one of the best on the compilation. It would be nice to see an album soon. Track8 is by Neurometor who has produced some impressive stuff recently. Its called "Black Planet". The Parvati sound is perfect for Neuromotor who almost seems to be showing off here. Packed with great sounds and fully charged energy it thumps home with an evil grin. Cheeky acidic melodies flow through its veins. When it really comes in at the end its an amazing sound to behold. Full power acid trance. Twisted through and through everything darts all over the place never settling anywhere. Plenty of digital sci-fi effects. The bass so pushing its almost too perfect. There is a good bit of variety on here and loads of sounds panning all over. Psy trance thats fully charged. Superb again and another favorite on this third trip which ends with a track by Sticky Fingers. Its called "Whats Going On". You tell me, I was confused over an hour ago. Whats the time now? This is not an ambient closing track. Oh no its time to march for glory with a grin as that bassline will pick you up and bounce you up and down by the top of your head. Quite spacey and very very pushing. It sounds so good especially if you've journeyed the whole album. A great way to finish as its very positive. Sounds tinker about, they come and go and just help you on the way to the finish line. Tearing sounds appear and things could get heavy, instead it goes back to its triumphant state with a fantastic tribal feel. The samples are good and the main acidic melody just travels so perfectly its control and behavior under these sticky fingers is amazing. I'm left with the feeling I want more. Some great trance here - Parvati have hit the jackpot again. RECOMMENDED.
